Alaskan adventure is everywhere in the Mat-Su Valley! Summer and winter you will find activities, attractions and adventure. From fishing to golfing, from flightseeing to rafting to skiing and snow-shoeing, you'll need several days to experience all of the adventure offered!

For the highly adventurous, Talkeetna is the staging area for climbers who attempt to conquer Mt. McKinley. This town also specializes in flightseeing tours, river rafting, boat tours and sport fishing.

Nestled between two beautiful lakes, the town of Wasilla is the home of the world-famous Iditarod Sled Dog Race. For watersports lovers, Wasilla Lake is perfect for boating, fishing and waterskiing.

If you're looking for a picturesque little town with an agricultural flair, then be sure to stop in Palmer, which offers an 18-hole golf course with beautiful views of the mountains and Knik Glacier. It also hosts the Alaska State Fair from late August to early September.
