The Talkeetna Historical Society is bringing back a classic! The Moose Dropping Festival will be held on a smaller scale the first two weekends in July. On July 4, the Moose on the Loose parade, moose dropping raffle and auction will take place, followed by games for all on July 5. On July 6, the famous Mountain Mama contest takes place. On July 13, a mini-moose silent auction, games and music downtown are scheduled, along with a one-pitch softball tournament.
