Mat-Su Valley Transportation

Planes, trains and automobiles! Find the mode of transportation that will best fit your time and budget needs.

The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is 35 miles north of Anchorage via the Glenn Highway (Alaska Route 1). This route leads straight to the core populated areas of Wasilla and Palmer.

Many visitors fly into Anchorage, rent a vehicle, and drive less than one hour to get here. Others make advance reservations for airport shuttles or van service.
