Located on the banks of the Little Susitna River, this colorful town offers a gentle river to float with great fishing. Grab a soft serve ice cream cone and peruse the local goods at the Saturday Market. In the winter ice fish on area lakes (try the pike derby held in March). Give a snowmobile or sled dog tour a go to feel the crisp air as you zip through the countryside blanketed with pristine snow.
