You will be able to attend the ceremonial start for the race in Anchorage, then on to Willow where you will begin your guide will take you 40 miles up the Yentna River near race checkpoint #5. This package includes two nights at our plush Denali View cabin right on the Iditarod Trail. On Sunday we will head to Yentna Station Road House, just 4 miles down the trail where we will see the first mushers arrive at the checkpoint. You will see how the officials check the teams and the mushers as they arrive. This is an Iditarod experience only seen by a small number of those who enjoy the race.
