Want to trek on Matanuska Glacier with MICA Guides, zip on Alaska's fastest zip line and then spend an evening in one of the fabulous glamping tents at Alpenglow Luxury Camping this summer? It's as easy as participating in Alaska's largest online scavenger hunt in late March.

The Quest for the Ultimate Alaska Adventure is a new event hosted by Scott McMurren's Alaska Travelgram, a popular online travel site dedicated to adventures around the state. For a week, the event will have daily challenges including posting photos and videos, trivia questions and much more. Daily prizes are awarded based on completion of the challenges, as well as grand prizes for the week-long event.

The Mat-Su Convention & Visitors Bureau is sponsoring the event and giving away a prize package you don't want to miss - ziplining, glacier trekking and luxury camping at Matanuska Glacier. If you don't win, you should still plan on the adventure this summer, as it combines some of the most fun things you can do in the Mat-Su Valley with spectacular views along the way.

In all, more than $20,000 in prizes are available, including round-trip Alaska Airlines tickets, packages on the Alaska Railroad, boat tours, Denali getaways and much more.

The event replaces the popular Alaska Summer Showcase, which McMurren hosts every spring, highlighting Alaska destinations and activities for residents to plan their summer trips. Due to Covid protocols, the Alaska Summer Showcase was put on hold this year, with the online contest replacing it.

Tickets are $15 for teams of two (all prizes are for two people) and are available HERE. Don't miss the chance to win one of the many Mat-Su getaways!
