Some of the top professional bull riders in the country are coming to Palmer this Memorial Day weekend as part of a jam-packed lineup of rodeo events on the Alaska State Fairgrounds.

The PRCA is back with the Xtreme Bulls tour, with some of the country's top bull riders will compete for 10 ounces of Bering Sea gold, with another $50,000 in prizes up for grabs in the weekend competition. It kicks off the rodeo season for 2022 with a bang.

The action-packed four-day event includes the RAM Championship Rodeo, live music, Golden Wheel Amusement carnival rides and much more. The event is part of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association’s Xtreme Bulls tour, featuring top national riders and some of the toughest bulls. It’s the northernmost event on the tour schedule, and was wildly popular in its Palmer debut in 2021. Who can last 8 seconds on the bull? We’ll find out Saturday, and they’ll have a chance to ride for win the gold.
