During these uncertain times, the Mat-Su CVB is here to provide our partners with resources they need, as well as information to our visitors. We are all in this together, and together, we will get through it.

For our visitors, we look forward to the day we can welcome you and show you why we love the Mat-Su Valley, and all of Alaska. Wide open spaces. Glaciers. Wildlife. Denali. We promise you, it will be worth the wait. During this time, when you are staying safe at home, take a minute to explore the web site and learn about the many great experiences we have to offer. It will all be here for you when it's safe to travel again. Right now, though, our top priority is the health and safety of our communities, and our residents.

For our partners, know that we are here for you. The Mat-Su CVB staff is reaching out to individual members every day on the phone. We want to hear what is going on with your business, and the concerns you have moving forward. We are virtually attending industry webinars and sharing that information with you, whether it be about traveler sentiment or financial resources.

We are also starting to offer online webinars that will touch on a wide range of subjects, from disaster recovery options to marketing tips and industry updates. Stay tuned for those.

We are encouraged to hear about good things happening in our community during this time as well. Alaska Farm Tours is using their van and time to deliver food and do pick-up and delivery from farmers, for example. The Mat-Su Health Foundation is awarding $375,000 in grants in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, which will greatly help our community. Even in a time like this, there are still amazing things happening and we're encouraged to see everyone pull together - while not physically being together.
