See the Iditarod Sed Dog Race out on the trail

The 2026 Iditarod Race Event is March 7 through 9.  For those of you who haven't witnessed the Iditarod Race out on the trail we have a great opportunity for you. There's nothing like experiencing this race as the mushers go by just a few feet from your face. Think of it. No crowds. Only the mushers and the wilderness in your photos. We build a great bonfire right beside the trail and a bar-b-que that goes on into the night. You can stand beside the trail and “high five” the mushers as they go by. We are located at mile 35 on the trail from Deshka Landing. You can arrive via snowmachine or small bush plane. We have a 1300ft  airstrip on our property.  Airplanes can plug into our power for preheat if needed.  If you don’t have an airplane or snowmachine we can help you arrange a charter flight from either Anchorage or Willow. The cost is $349 per person per night and includes lodging and all meals. Since the race comes by our lodge on Sunday we recommend arriving Saturday March 7th or sooner and departing Monday or later on the 9th. Book your stay soon while there is still space available.
