Ice Fishing 101
- Location: Finger Lake State Recreation Area
- February 28, 2026
- Time: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Price: Free to attend, registration is required
Ice fishing is a unique sport that is only offered in the winter months when the ice is thick enough to carry the weight of the people on it and the equipment needed to keep you warm and dry. This outing is designed for those who have little to no experience fishing and/or ice fishing. Maximum 12 participants.
During the 2-hour outing, we’ll review cleaning fish, ice fishing equipment, and tips and tricks for ice fishing. All ice fishing equipment is provided, heated tent, chairs, snacks, hot drinks, fishing poles, and bait.
This event is managed by our outreach partner, Revel Treks and Tours. Clicking “register here” will redirect you to their site to sign up.
