These legendary music icons are celebrating nearly five decades of making hit music like “Mama Told Me (Not To Come),” “Joy to the World,” “Black and White,” “Shambala” and “One.”

With 21 consecutive Top 40 hits (including three #1 singles, 11 Top 10s and 18
straight Top 20s), plus 7 million-selling singles and 12 straight RIAA-certified Gold LPs, this Grammy-nominated group boasts chart and sales records virtually unmatched in popular music.

The six-some continues to add new music to their arsenal, most recently the double-A sided single featuring “Heart of Blues” and a cappella ballad “Prayer of the Children.” They also maintain an aggressive touring schedule, performing more than 70 hit-filled concerts for generation-spanning audiences each year.

The band features Danny Hutton (founder/lead vocalist), Michael Allsup (guitar), Paul Kingery
(bass/vocals), Pat Bautz (drums), Howard Laravea (keyboards) and David Morgan
(vocals).

(Interesting fact: The band’s name refers to Native Australian hunters in the outback who huddled with their dogs for warmth on cold nights – the coldest being a “three dog night.”)
