Hana-Paw Ranch

This rental is for the entire house that sleeps a large family or group. There are 10 full and queen size beds, as well as two futons. It can be rented as only top or bottom floors if you need less space (contact for rates and availability). The home was built in the 1970s on property located on a bluff of the Matanuska River, which is accessible within a half-mile hike from the house. Much of the house is original/retro and in a quiet, country setting with wide open spaces to almost every side. Though it feels secluded, it is only 5 minutes to downtown Palmer, where there are several shops, breweries and restaurants that exemplify the quaint, Alaskan pioneer spirit. The Palmer property is close to the Alaska State Fair, close to local hiking areas, and only about a twenty minute drive to the start of the Iditarod Race. There is one neighboring home and a short driveway to get right on the road, but sits on 49 acres of seclusion otherwise. It feels like you are in Alaskan vastness but are close to all you want to see.
