Skeetawk Alpine Ski Area

Skeetawk is a non-profit ski and snowboard area in Hatcher Pass, Alaska. Our mission is to promote safe outdoor recreation, education, and healthy lifestyles. The name "Skeetawk" is derived from the Dena’ina word Shk’ituk’t, which means “where we slide down,” and was the original Dena’ina name for the village before it was later renamed Kenai.
