Onward & Upward

We are an adventure based education school accredited through the Association of Experiential Education, providing a One Health wellness promotion curriculum as a community based 501c charitable nonprofit organization in Palmer, Alaska.

Our name “Onward and Upward,” represents resiliency in the face of adversity and positive, prosocial growth. In essence, we offer fun and exciting opportunities for students to engage and connect with their own strengths, their community and planet.

All of our programs include the immersion of our students into nature. The role that nature plays in our health and wellbeing is powerfully therapeutic and deeply empowering. In fact, animal health, human health, and environmental health are intrinsically intertwined and interdependent. The health of one affects the health of all.
