Roaming Moose Getaway is a private guest suite above our garage with a separate entrance. Our cedar-siding mountain home, nestled in 10 acres of woodland, is in the heart of Mat-Su Valley on the foothills of Lazy Mountain. You will enjoy a beautiful view of Matanuska Peak from the dining table!   Our ‘home away from home’ features a spacious bedroom and a full bath, including a washer and dryer, and is stocked with towels. Enjoy the cozy living room with ample space to relax amongst Alaska décor. You are welcome to tour our lawn and gardens, visit the goats and chickens, take a walk in our woods, or prop your feet on our deck.   The kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, and a continental breakfast – cereals, milk, eggs, bagels, breads, homemade yogurt and granola, and fresh fruit. It includes a fridge, stove, microwave, and toaster. Easily make a full meal with utensils, plates, pots and pans, etc. that are provided.   We look forward to hosting you soon in our spacious 850 sq ft. guest suite.
