Sheldon Air Service strives to provide its customers with a personal experience, sharing our love for flying, Denali, and Alaska backcountry as a whole. We proudly continue this legendary Alaskan mountain-flying tradition by offering:

• Flightseeing through the majesty of the Alaska Range to see Denali and Sheldon’s Mountain House.

• Glacier Landings on nearby glaciers, including next to Don's 'Mountain House' or at Denali Base Camp, this where annually 1,000 – 1,500 climbers from all over the world start their ascent to the 20,320’ summit. Sheldon air is one of the air taxi services that flies the climbers to and from Base Camp.

• We also offer Customized services for mountaineers, photographers, remote property owners and other backcountry enthusiasts seeking individualized access to the remote Alaskan wilderness. Please contact us directly for any customized trips. Those are the ones we love to make happen.

Our pilots are well trained, and have thousand of hours flying experience in the Alaska backcountry. Their extensive knowledge of the mountains is shared in their in-flight commentary.

Our local family-run business specializes in hosting small groups, allowing us to focus on a unique interactive “flight experience of a lifetime” for each of our guests. With 2-way communication between you and the pilot through noise canceling headsets, not only will you hear the pilot’s narration of your breathtaking surroundings, but will also have a unique opportunity to interact with our pilots and ask questions in flight.
